This is not so much a question as it is a general release of information for the general public. :)
As of or around December 7th, Windstream Telecommunications is closing internet technical support centers for DSL/Dial-up. In the press release, they make it sound like ALL the jobs are going to Ohio. Not the case, all the Tier/Level 1 tech support jobs are going to India.
The trial for this was start earlier this year or late last year and they called the desk WinPro, and for whatever reason, they decided to close the two states-based support desks to open the India based one. Anyways, as mentioned, just some information that not everyone may have known.
