What is up with windstream?

Every time I'm on the internet the dsl light on the modem shuts of then comes on in about 20 sec it disconnects me off of xbox live 2 how do I fix this|||You should contact your DSL provider and let them know you are losing your connection. If you DSL light goes out it means you are not getting service that you are paying for.
