My dog just tried to bite the windstream guy........?

the guy came out of his car and my dog, a newfoundland just ran up and started barkng and biting. he didnt bite him though just got close. he has never done this before and im really scared. what should i do?|||unless you are willing to go to obedience classes and do some serious socialization with that dog, then u need to be way more careful when someone is coming over. that could be bad for both you and the dog if someone got bit. try enrolling in a local obedience class, did wonders for my dog.|||Make sure your dog cannot get that close again. Keep him in the fence, house or on a leash. If he does bite, you could be in for a lot of trouble and having your dog destroyed. Even if this is the first and only time you have seen it, he may do it again. Better to err on side of caution than on someone being seriously injured and you being sued and the dog dying.
