With Windows Live Messenger, how can you chat with gmail and windstream email users?

I have Windows Live Messenger and want to chat with my friends that don't have hotmail. . . any way I could help this?|||I'm not that familiar with MSN's policy on chatting with users from other sites, but I'm sure you can find out in the Help section of Windows Live.|||I wish I could have been more helpful...
