I have a dell laptop that occasionally won't connect to the internet because of a DNS error. Normally I can restart the desktop computer or modem and router to get it working, but now I cant get it to work. I have a linksys WRT54g wireless router and a speedstream modem. My isp is windstream.
Also I have tried clearing the DNS cache but that did not work.|||Contact your ISP to get it fixed. They are providing the DNS services for you, so they must help you with this.|||Try switching to Google's DNS.|||Go to......
Start --%26gt; Run --%26gt; then type in "cmd" (without quotes of course)
then type in:
ipconfig /flushdns
