Is Windstream a good internet service provider?

Is it fast and reliable compared to Road Runner? I live in New York.|||I've never had Road Runner, so I can't compare, but I've had Windstream for 5 years. It's my ONLY option (I'm in Oklahoma) and it is SSSLLLLOOOWWW and tends to be offline frequently. There are days when I will have to wait a couple of hours to have an available internet connection.
