What happens if I plug in two Windstream modems in my home?

Instead of running a 100 foot Ethernet cable I was wondering if I can plug another modem in to a phone line and run it through that. Would it charge me double?

Also, where could I get another modem?

Thanks, Brodie|||You can have two DSL modems in the same house, but it is cost-prohibitive. You'd need to add a second phone line, and pay for that line as well as a separate DSL connection. In most cases, the better option is to share your existing connection with the other devices in your home using ethernet, wireless, or perhaps powerline networking adapters.
